How You Can Assist The U.S. SAR Task Force

The United States Search and Rescue Task Force provides services to the community at no charge.  However, the cost of providing search and rescue and disaster response services along with educational programs is significant.  If you are unable to join the Task Force, you can still help!  We need the help of the community (individuals, local businesses and sponsors) to support operations and training and educational programs.  With your assistance, we can remain fully prepared to assist public safety agencies and the community we serve.

All costs that are not covered by sponsors or private donations are covered by our individual specialists.  This can include purchasing and caring for their personal equipment.  As well, each specialist arranges for time off from work through vacation or unpaid days as well as covering all costs involved in responding to and from searches and disasters.  Therefore, any support from the community is greatly appreciated.  Donations need not be monetary.  Our department utilizes various types of equipment and supplies as well.   Corporate sponsors and supporters are also encouraged to assist.  Your donation is tax deductible as the U.S. SAR Task Force is a not-for-profit organization.

Please feel free to contact us for more information.  We appreciate any help that you can provide.  We can be reached by telephone at: (215) 922-7225  or  by e-mail at:  or  by first class mail at:  U.S. SAR Task Force, Post Office Box 11292, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, 19027  USA.

Thank you in advance for your contribution and assistance and in "Working Together, So Others May Live!"
