Requirements To Join The Task Force
The U.S. SAR Task Force consists of specialists from all walks of life who have a common interest in helping others in need.
We limit new admissions to the number of people that we can process and train effectively. We always want to be sure to give the new recruits the personal attention that they require. We do discourage candidates who only have a "mild" interest in this type of work or who have very unrealistic expectations.
While no special skills are necessary (you will be trained for your position) in order to become part of the Task Force, due to the influx of applications, applicants with a history of public service experience and training will be given priority during the review process.
